Who am I and what is Liverpool LEARN?

I’m a science teacher with 12 years’ experience teaching a range of science courses for 11 to 19-year-old students. I’ve always been fascinated by science especially the way it can change the way you look at the world around you. This is essential to navigate in the hi-tech world we live in.

I believe that as a science teacher, I have an important role in promoting and discovering how students engage and excel in science. The connection between science and students can be strengthened by highlighting how science is used in their daily lives and nurturing their ability to think independently and critically.

My teaching experience includes auditing students’ subject knowledge, planning appropriately to bridge gaps in their knowledge and applying various assessments to inform further planning.

I have a postgraduate certificate in education and a current DRB check (available upon request).

Liverpool LEARN is a learning, education and resource network based on Merseyside. We provide high quality tuition for key stages 2, 3, 4 and 5 science.
